Lakehouse Fun!

This weekend our family took a trip to Maybank, Texas. We stayed in a lake house on Cedar Creek lake. It was a blast! I took 139 pictures, yes 139. I only posted 21, so you should be very proud. Hope you enjoy our fun filled weekend!

I wish I were this flexible! She loves her piggies!

This is what I saw when I came off the boat, Daddy and Rylee just hangin out

So cozy!

Rylee with Grammy again, she loves her Grammy!

Rylee was laughing at her Uncle J here, he is so silly!

Berk's first boat ride!

So sweet!

Rylee doing "airplane with Daddy!." Love the stream of drool ;)

So cute in her monkey p.j.'s

Grammy and Papa got the girls these dresses in Puerto Rico. We brought them hoping to get a couple cute pics of all of them. It was quite difficult!

Little stinkers

Elliott is trying to get Rylee's attention with a flower. She wouldn't look up because she was fixated on her piggies and Berk was not in a picture taking mood. Still so cute thought!

This is what Rylee has been doing lately. We call her our little Rollie Polie. She tries to roll over in her seat and even her swing too! This is why these things have belts.

Busy, Busy Weekend!

Again, I have a ridiculous amount of pictures posted, but we have been so busy and have so much to share, it's hard to choose. Plus after not taking as many pictures during the week, I more than make up for it on the weekend!

Most of you know that My sister, brother in law and nieces are moving to McKinney, YAY! They had to be out of their house by the 23rd and the house they are moving into is unsure yet, so for the time being they have temporarily moved into my parent's house in Prosper. Anyway, my parents went on a long weekend trip to Puerto Rico, so my sister and the girls so graciously came and stayed Wed-Fri to watch Rylee. Rylee loved being taken care of by her Aunt Chrissy and cousins!

Saturday morning Chris and Chrissy brought the girls over for us to watch while they finished some last minute packing. It was a bit crazy with three little girls, but fun, fun, fun! My brother came to pick them up later Saturday afternoon so that him and Rachel could watch them for the night.

Saturday night our good friends Josh and Katie came to visit and stayed for dinner and hung out for a bit. Katie is pregnant with a little boy and due in March!

Elliott had gymnastics this week, so Rylee got to ride in the double stroller with Berkley. Chrissy said she was so good, that's my girl!

We went for a walk Thursday night and it seemed a bit chilly. Rylee was just getting over her first cold so we put one of her little hats on her. She probably looked so silly wearing a hat in September, but you can never be too careful ;)

Snug as a bug in a rug! She loves going for walks!

She has been making this funny face lately, it's so cute. Then she makes all these silly noises as she sucks in her bottom lip. I have a short video of it I will have to post later ;)

Love those baby blues!

Here are the girls watching Saturday morning cartoons.

These girls are going to cause so much trouble!

Rylee kept reaching for Berk, but Berk kept pulling her arm away, it was too funny!

We started baby food Saturday morning too. We started with sweet potatoes and she loved them!

Rylee with her Uncle J

Elliott ran some errands with me and we stopped at the dollar tree. She picked out a bear hat for her and a bird one for Berk. Then she picked out two baby dolls and bottles. When we got back we made cupcakes. She is quite the little baker, even cracked the eggs herself! It was so funny she told me, "my mommy lets me lick the spoon after I stir it." I told her, "that's the only way to do it!"

Here she is icing them, and of course eating the icing at the same time. A little E love with your cupcake! (Can you see the ones I iced v.s. Elliott?)

Berkley got to help put the sprinkles on too! If you notice, Berkley decided she wanted to wear her p.j.'s when she got up from her nap, too cute!

I love this picture!

And this one!

This one too!

Just chillin!

Rylee with Josh and Katie (and baby Tucker)!

My sister brought over a purple tutu she made that one of her friends was supposed to come and pick up for pictures. Well, after a couple of glasses of wine Katie and I decided we should try it on Rylee. It was way too big, but I couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures of course!

My little cutie!

Mommy's Weekend with Rylee

I'm going to apologize in advance for all of the pictures I posted, but it is so hard to choose when they are all so darn cute! Anyway, Brad took a guy's trip with his buddies to go dove hunting this weekend, so it was just me and Rylee this weekend. We enjoyed the rainy weather and stayed in most of the day Saturday and played, but then got stir crazy, so what are two girls gonna do? Yep you guessed it..... what we do best, SHOPPING! I enjoyed every second having Rylee all to myself, but we did miss Daddy a little ;)

Today Mom and Pops came over to ride with us to the church for our cousin Cora's dedication. Cora is two weeks younger than Rylee and she looked so pretty. Jennifer had her gown and bonnet made from her wedding dress, which I thought was pretty neat! Rylee got a bit vocal during church, so we stepped out for the last 30 min. or so of the service, but it was over 1 hr. and 30 min., a long time for a baby to be entertained. After church we went back to Ryan and Jennifer's house for snacks, cake and presents. It was great to hang out with the family. Rylee and Cora were so sweet together, Rylee kept grabbing her hands, dress and face. Mom has those pictures on her camera, I will have to have her send them to me.

Anyway, here are some pictures from our weekend!

Here is Rylee waiting patiently for me to make her yummy cereal!

Here, I was trying to get a picture of the face she makes with her first bite. She makes the funniest face every time like she is still not sure what it is and then is like... ok I remember.

Silly girl!

She loves bath time, now she tries to grab the washcloth while I'm washing her. I let her have it when I'm done. I hope it's o.k. to drink a bit of Baby Magic ;)

Rylee with her buddy Ruger, he loves her!

"Born To Be A Little Princess!"

She still loves her baby Einstein mat too! She almost pulls herself off the ground when she is pulling on all the toys.

We enjoyed the cool rainy weather this morning!

Ruger did too!

Here is Rylee at church with Poppie

Here is Ryan and Jennifer with Cora and Aunt Diane (Ryan's mom)

Rylee and Maw

Here is a video from Saturday night of my little Rollie Polie. As soon as you put her on her back she flips over and then gets mad she's on her stomach and can't get back over. We need to work on rolling tummy to back!
