A SuPeR DuPeR LoOoOnG PoSt

Ohhh, where to start! Well, meet Baxter! This is my parents new English Bulldog puppy, he is so darn cute!
No more stairs for the Rylee Boo!

Getting ready to go play in the snow...

She loved it, these pictures need no captions...

This weekend was my first night away from Rylee, super hard for me to leave her! We went with several of our friends out to the cabin in Golden, Texas. Rylee stayed with my parents, so I knew she was in good hands. They took these pictures for me:
Learning to play chess.
Apparently, she did this all on her own :) Not sure how Baxter's collar got on her though ;)

Rylee and Grammy went for a walk to the park and to see the ducks.

Looks like she didn't miss me a bit, thanks mom and dad for watching our sweet little girl!

The bonfire, so awesome!

O.K. So, there is a little explaining to do in these next several pictures. I got a little out of control after 10 hrs. of drinking Patron shots, beer and crown & coke. I got the bright idea after watching Amber sit so quietly in her chair watching the fire that I decided to run and tackle her. Quite fun if I do say so myself, but I do have bruises to show for it!

Then, Amber and I decided to tackle everyone else, one by one.

I just want to go ahead and apologize for the language in these next 3 videos in advance.

Happy 11 months Rylee

Rylee turned 11 months on Monday, I can't believe in less than a month our baby girl will be 1 year old! Chrissy took pictures on Monday for her invitation and 1 year pictures and they turned out amazing, thank you Chrissy! I can't wait to share them too!

This week has been a blast, being on Spring Break and spending every waking moment with Rylee. Morning snuggles, afternoon naps together and enjoying the day playing with cousins and going for walks, I couldn't have asked for a better Spring Break!

Rylee gets bigger and cuter every day! She loves getting into anything she is not supposed to, such as: the fireplace, outlets, Ruger's water bowl, climbing the stairs (this one is our fault, we're getting a gate soon), making her way into the bathrooms to undo toilet paper and attacking anything on the tables in our family room. I can't complain though, I love watching her explore and how curious she is about everything.

She has gotten really good at talking, she likes to repeat things we say. Things she says on her own are: mama, dada, dog, shoes (this is a new one), and of course the normal jibber jabber.

She's gotten really good at waving "hi" and "bye." She won't do it if you ask her to, but if she sees someone or someone is leaving she will wave, pretty darn cute.

We've been working with her on baby signing too. So far we've only done the signs for "more," and "eat." Sometimes I swear she does "more," but I'm not quite sure yet.

She's doing pretty good with the whole walking thing too. She prefers to crawl, but will walk between the tables to the couch, or stand up and take steps to get Ruger or a toy she sees. Again she likes to do it on her own and not when you ask her to or try to get her to walk to you. I think there is a little stubbornness there!

Her new favorite thing is watching the Wiggles, very annoying, but very cute to see her reaction to them. The kid loves music, she will actually sit/lay with me on the couch and watch American Idol.

She's not eating baby food anymore, we have a couple of baby foods left and I try to give them to her when I think about it, but she is so over it. Her new favorite is ice cream, just in time for her Birthday!

I couldn't have been more blessed than to have this sweet girl in our lives! 3 more months until I get to enjoy her sweet face every day, YAY!!!

Her butt looked so cute in her little jeans, I just had to!

We went for a walk yesterday, she preferred to play with her sunglasses rather than wear them.

Trying to get the plug covers off, notice the smirk.

Here Rylee is helping me with my grocery list.

Watching morning cartoons and drinking juice. Poor kid has to break her neck to watch t.v. now that it's hung above the fireplace.

A FuN FiLleD WEeKeNd

These next few pictures are of Ry watching the Wiggles, she loves them with a passion. Her reaction is so darn cute, me on the other hand.... lets just say it makes her happy so it makes the torture all worth it!

This was the other morning.... isn't it the sweetest ever?!

Daddy shared some of his powder doughnut with Ry, she had half of it in her mouth...

Despite the look on her face, she does like it, I promise!

Poppie and Maw came over Saturday and we fried mushrooms, french fries, catfish and shrimp....yummy, oh and enjoyed a few margaritas....double yummy!

The girls

Sweet Rylee boo

Chris, Chrissy and the girls came over Saturday night. Elliott enjoyed helping Brad on the computer, so sweet!

I woke up Sunday morning to find my two favorite people doing this....

Ry is turning into quite the climber, Grammy says she's going to be just like her Mommy and into everything! I love how she is up on her toes, this is how she tells us she wants in, and starts to try and climb in herself.

Sunday we went over to Chris and Chrissy's house to celebrate Mom and Dad's birthday. We had a great time grilling out burgers, eating cake, playing washers and hangin out with the kiddos. We can't wait till J and Ray add some of their own to the crew :)

The girls helped Grammy and Papa blow out their candles. Berk's glare at Rylee is priceless!

Have a great week, I'm going to enjoy some extra time with my sweet baby girl!!!!
