P-A-R-T-Y

I can't believe how big Rylee is getting! It seems every day she does/says something new! I don't even think I could list all the words she says, but she is also doing very well with sign language. She does: please, thank you, more, milk, eat and all done/finished. Right now we are working on help. I can not resist her when she says please, it's so darn cute!

Friday we go for her 15 month check up, which means shots :( Not looking forward to that, but curious to see how tall she is and how much she weighs. Brad and I always make guesses before we go to see who is the closest (I always win)!

Here is our week in pictures:

Is this not the cutest face you have ever seen?!

Yes my friends, this is Rylee in one of the cabinets! This is her favorite one (beside the Tupperware drawer). This happens to be where we keep all of her diapers, wipes etc.. so we don't have to run upstairs 800 times a day. If you notice Rylee has emptied out the cabinet and decided not only to climb in the cabinet, but the 2nd shelf.

Earlier I mentioned that we put the coffee table upstairs because Rylee was climbing and standing on top of it. Now she is climbing up onto the furniture and siting on the arms, inches away from tables on either side that she can hit her head on. Pretty soon we will have a house with no furniture!

Last weekend Elliott had her 5th birthday party, a splash party. I think we had as much fun as the kids did! There was a double slip n slide, two pools and a jumbo blow up slide/pool.
Rylee checking out the slip n slide...

Elliott is so sweet with Rylee and Rylee loves her! Here Elliott is taking Rylee to show her the pools.

Berkley and Rylee, finally becoming buddies.

Rylee with Grammy and Papa

Rylee experienced her first crush at the party too, Baylor. Rylee enjoyed handing him water guns and following him wherever he went, it was so cute! At least she has good taste ;)

Here is the birthday girl going down the enormous slide

Then Berkley. If you click on the picture you can see Berk's terrified face. She looked so scared, but then did it several more times, such a brave girl!

Brad and Jamie had a race (Jamie won)!

There was a net at the top of the slide, we think to prevent people from doing crazy things, but that is exactly what happened anyway. Brad decided to not only jump over it, but to do a flip over it. Then, all of the boys were doing it, it was so fun and funny, but I was a little nervous too!

Aaron and Amber came over towards the end of the party and stayed the night with us. They brought their sweet boy Mason.

The next morning, Elliott came over with Chris to return some things they borrowed for the party. Elliott enjoyed reading Ry and Mason a story.

Enjoying some snuggles

Rylee now sits IN her basket of books and reads

Ry enjoying spaghetti and meatballs (and brussel sprouts, LOVES them)!

Long story and it sounds silly, but Ry has been wanting a pillow pet. Elliott introduced them to her at the mall a couple of weeks ago and then she saw a commercial for them on t.v. while eating breakfast. She pointed at the t.v saying, look, look." When I looked and saw it was the commercial for the same thing at the mall I thought it was too funny she remembered. I said, "awww, do you want one." She looked at me and said "please," in sign language. I almost died! So then, on Tuesday we met My sweet friend Michelle and Ry's B.F.F. Addie at the mall for lunch. Chrissy was there with the girls for E's b-day and guess what Elliott got...... a pillow pet. Rylee was hugging on it and I just had to. Ry ended up getting the same one Elliott got, but a smaller version. She LOVES it, has slept with it for her nap and bedtime since and calls it either Z or ZeeZa.

How do I resist such a sweet face?! I'm going to be broke if I am a such a sucker for puppy dog eyes and a please...

Baby It's Hot Outside...

I was so excited to post our family pictures that I did not post pictures from the last couple of weeks, so here you go:

A couple of weeks ago we had the entire house painted, so exciting! It took 3 days and it looks great, we are totally in LOVE. My mom watched Rylee two of the days over at her house and then we shopped the third day since Brad was home. Rylee enjoyed stalking the painters while waiting for Grammy to come get her. She was actually sitting with her legs sticking out between the balcony bars, but of course by the time I got my camera she wasn't anymore.
This was taken the 3rd day after shopping with Mommy ;) Ry had to nap in our bed since the painters were so loud and by her bedroom.
Later that day Uncle J came over to help Brad hang our t.v. back on the wall. Rylee was excited to have someone else read to her besides Mommy (Mommy was too). She brings me books all day long to read to her, sometimes the same book over and over. I love that she loves to read, but man it wears me out sometimes. I feel bad, but sometimes I have to put her basket of books away so she will play!

This is Ry's favorite spot while I'm picking up/cleaning our bedroom and bathroom.

Ry was walking around the house sucking this plastic container to her face and then would crack up laughing, it was too funny!

Last week Ry and I went over to Aunt Diane's house and Ry got to play with her cousin Cora. We finally painted Ry's room and Aunt Diane is going to paint a tree on her wall. I will have to take pictures when she finishes.

Ry eating blueberries with Daddy, she LOVES blueberries!

Last weekend we went over to Brad's parent's house to swim and cook out. We had lots of fun!

Ry splashing with Maw in the pool
Awwww, so cute together!

Ry with Maw and Poppy. Or I should say "Pee-Paw", Ry has come up with this on her own ;)
Helping Daddy cook some bacon for breakfast Sunday morning

This is one of Ry's favorite spots. She will sit between her toy box and basket of books and just sit there and read books all by herself, it is so sweet!

Did I mention Ry enjoys it under my sink?! She even put one of my headbands on all by herself!

Ry likes putting her leg up in her high chair while she eats, but this morning she put it up all the way onto her tray, such a stinker!

Swimming, swimming and more swimming! I got Ry a little blow up pool with a slide. It also has a giraffe that sprays water out its mouth. I had to deflate the giraffe head, Ry was not a fan!

Have a great weekend!
