I have to start by saying that Rylee started coughing at night starting the Wednesday before Christmas and by Thursday she had a runny nose. She was acting fine, but I decided to make her a doctor appointment Friday morning before the weekend and Christmas. Friday morning Eli woke up with a nasty cough out of no where so I called and added him to Ry's appointment.
Turns out that both kiddos have an ear infection, Ry has a cold virus and Eli has croup! They were both put on two different antibiotics each =( At first, Eli kept throwing up every time I would give him his and I worried he wasn't getting what he needed to make him better, but I figured out that if I fed him right before he ate, he would not have much to throw up. He is finally taking it with no problem, thank goodness!
Here are my two babies after their doctor visits. Not sure why every time Ry gets sick, she gets a mani and pedi...I guess b/c we're bored and stuck at home. I was finishing up some last minute wrapping and Ry was all up in my business, so I made her some bracelets out of toule to keep her occupied.
Christmas Eve morning we went over to my sister's house so the girls could decorate cookies for Santa and make reindeer food for the reindeer. They looked so cute in their matching outfits and little aprons! decorating her first cookie

Ry did not have a nap all day and played so long with her cousins that she passed out on the way home. She coughed the whole was home and I was able to take her coat off and change her pull up without her even waking up. About an hour later she woke up crying, I laid with her and she had a cup of milk before falling asleep again. About 30 min later she woke up coughing so hard she threw up all her milk in her bed =( After taking a quick shower and changing the sheets, she was finally back asleep. She still woke up at 6:45 and was not ready to see what Santa brought her. We went in our room, where she had some milk and watched a show.
She was finally good to go and came out to see what Santa had left for her.

Santa wrote a note telling Ry he had left her a special present, but that she would have to find it. He left her several clues...
That led her outside....

to find a SWING SET!!!

Santa has some serious magic up his sleeve because what is said to take 2 men 3 days work took Santa less than one night!
Ry enjoying her kitty cat sleeping bag (E got a dinosaur one). Notice how she laid all her stocking stuffers at the foot of her sleeping bag, so sweet!

We then headed over to Brad's parent's house to spend Christmas with them. Ry fell asleep in the car and woke up a hot mess! It was the worst possible time to forget Pink Dog at home! After an hour long melt down, she finally went to sleep. While she was asleep Eli enjoyed opening some of his presents. Check out his adorable Christmas sweater from Maw and Poppie!

Eli's first pair of boots!
When Ry woke up she was in a much better mood and ready to open presents. She got some new boots, and they even match a pair that Poppie has! I will have to get a picture of them wearing their boots together!

Ry got some cool Minnie accesories to keep warm!
Santa even visited their house and brought Ry a barbie bike!
