Rylee says.....

Rylee has been talking up a storm, pretty much sentences that I can carry on a conversation with her now! I wanted to write down some of my favorites before I forget.

*Anytime I'm doing pretty much anything..i.e. cooking, cleaning, brushing my teeth etc..
**Ry says, "Mommy!.....doin?"

*Anytime I ask her a question....(that requires a "yes")
**Ry says, "Yeah, I did!" (example: Did you have fun at Little Gym? Are you hungry? Did you fall down?)

* Anytime she hears something she's not sure about....
**Ry says, "What's that sound (and puts her hand to her ear)?"

*When I tell her the answer.......
**Ry says, "ice maker...right!" or "airplane, right!"
(Everything ends in "right." I think she gets this from me telling her "right" when we practice shapes, colors,
letters etc... and I notice Mickey Mouse and Blue's Clues says it a lot too)

* When she tastes something new.....
**Ry says, " I like it!" (eyebrows up, a smile and excitement in her voice)
or
**Ry says, "I don't like it!" (frown, shaking her head and pushes it away)

*We get onto Ruger quite a bit because his allergies drive me crazy and I know they bother him too, but it's
so annoying! Well, obviously this is enough for Ry to now catch on....
**Ry says, "Ruger stop or Ruger no," and slaps the couch. (this is the funniest part because we slap the couch
to make a noise to make him stop when he doesn't listen)

*Anytime I have something she wants...
**Ry says, " I have it.... or..... I some too!"

*Anytime I help her with something or give her something...
**Ry says, "thanks Mommy!" (melts my heart)

* Anytime she is looking for something she can't find...
**Ry says, "I don't see it."

*And my FAVORITE of all..... When I say I love you.....
**Ry says, " I love you Mommy!"

I know there are probably much more, but all I can think of at the moment. Ry brightens my day and amazes me with how much she knows and says everyday, LOVE you sweet girl!!!!

Time to Catch Up!

This was taken a couple of weeks ago over at Chrissy's. Berk (a.k.a. Snow White) and Ry are enjoying their candy necklaces!

Ry LOVES apples and Grammy discovered she likes them best like this....

Enjoying homemade salsa with daddy! I love how they both have the same look on their face.....

Awww sweet girl! She's the sweetest thing ever, if she gives Brad a kiss then she says, "Mommy kiss too," and comes and gives me a kiss too and vice versa!

Chasing each other around the kitchen, a favorite game of ours. She just squeals with excitement when I trick her by going another way and scaring her.

This was the morning we got snow again. I was making breakfast and went to get her and found her like this, so cute! Notice the miniature Goofy on the window seal?!

So serious about her artwork! LOVE how she is holding the pen correctly too without any help (must be the inner teacher in me).

The awesome Valentine card my wonderful sister did. Isn't she just amazing?!?!

Ry opening her Valentine gift.

It's a Buckleyboo lion. I found it in a parenting magazine and thought it was perfect for her. She is so obsessed with buckling and unbuckling anything with buckles. She drives me crazy with wanting to buckle her booster seat and high chair because she ends up climbing up into it to buckle it over and over again and I can't always be there to make she she doesn't fall. So happy when I found this, they have different animals too, helps with matching and fine motor skills too!

And of course..... a little travel case of mini Mickey Mouse books on colors, shapes, counting, opposites, you name it it's there. I think we might be working on the worlds largest Mickey collection!

A crazy hair morning!

This was at Little Gym Friday

After Little Gym we met Michelle and Addie for lunch at Gloria's. Here they are greeting each other with a hug, not the greatest picture though!

Sitting like big girls waiting for their highchairs.
Ry's first time to put money in her piggy bank!

I was trying to get a picture of Ry in this cute little outfit and new sandals, but she didn't want to cooperate, so daddy tried to help. Aren't these sandals the cutest??!! Brad thinks they're weird, but what does he know, I want some in my size!

We went over to Maw & Poppie's for the day Saturday. Poppie got Ry some balls, one of them changes color with the heat from your hands.

Not sure what's going on here, but probably done with me taking her picture.

Poppie showing Ry how the ball changes from purple to pink. Then she kept handing it to Maw and telling her to "wash it."

singing songs with Maw
playing dress up

Pops made stuffed artichokes, they were delicious!

Ry enjoying a snack

Ry excited about some sweets I made. She loves to lick the beaters, that's my girl!

Here are a couple videos from Little Gym on Friday

Snow, Snow, & More Snow

We have had some serious cabin fever the last 4 days, I'm sure along with many others! We've kept busy with playing, LOTS of crafts and movie watching!

Ry making some Valentine "love bugs."

Wednesday we were graced with a rolling blackout that lasted for 4.5 hours, instead of the 15 min. it was supposed to be. Thank goodness we were able to get firewood from our neighbors, the house got down to a chill 58 degrees, not fun!

Ry checking out the fire

It got to the point that if we weren't in front of the fire it was pretty darn COLD! Thank goodness we were able to charge the portable dvd player in my car so we could watch Mickey's Christmas Carol a half a dozen times!
This is Ry's new favorite thing to do....

Fun in the snow, I think she would have stayed out all day if I let her!

Ry decided it would be fun to throw snow!
She LOVES to eat the snow and kept saying, "ice cube" every time she took a bite.
Attempting to throw snow at Ruger. I think he knew she was up to no good and wouldn't come any closer than this...

I love her little butt in these sweat pants!
Stinker

Can we say static much???!!!

Where's Rylee?
There she is (hate that this is not focused)!

Round II with Daddy! Here Brad is showing how deep the snow was in some spots of our yard!

LOVE these two!
Oh... and a story about this (the swing in the yard). The night all of this ice started it was so windy that our swing blew off our porch and across the yard, the smoker also flew of the porch and the table and chairs had slid all the way to the opposite side of the patio! I think if our table and chairs weren't tied together they would have crashed threw the window...no joke!

Brad throwing snow at Ruger! Ruger LOVES the snow too...maybe not in his face, but he LOVES it!

Ry showing the deepest part!

When the sun finally came out it was BE-A-UTIFUL!

I talked Brad into taking us to Salt Grass for dinner tonight to get out of the house. So here is the poor guy shoveling tire tracks to get down the driveway. Unfortunately we couldn't get the car back in the garage when we got home. We have the steepest street & driveway in the whole neighborhood!
Good News: Dinner was FANTASTIC, Thanks babe!!!
