San Antonio/Austin Trip

Family pic before floating the lazy river =)
Ry and Maw waiting on the truck so we can head to Sea World!Ry LOVED the dolphins!
Feeding some ducks with Daddy.
Waiting for a show to start with Maw and Poppie.
This show was AMAZING! There were boats, jet skis, wake boarders, skiers.....you name it. It was one thing after the other and sometimes at the same time, full of cool tricks and stunts for a full 30 min. Ry kept saying, "again!"
This one was at the Shamu show. It was pretty HOT by this time! We got seated 30 min before and then there were technical difficulties. After we left we discovered that it was the record high in 77 years.....nice!
We got to Sea World at 10 and left at 3:30. As soon as Ry got her stuffed Shamu on the way out she passed out! I can't believe she made it the whole day =)
Saturday we went on the River walk and did some shopping. After Ry's nap we headed down for some more pool fun!
This was another favorite at the hotel, the golf cart in the lobby. She had to climb in every time we passed it!
Saturday night they had a petting zoo and pony rides. Ry just LOVES animals and she's so sweet to them! They even had little cowgirl dress up clothes!
Ry kept trying to pet this llama, but it kept running back and forth from one side of the cage to the other. Ry kept chasing it back and forth trying to grab it and said, "hold still." Finally, they gave her some food to feed it so she could touch him. She kept saying, "it tickles!"
playing at the park
Every night they had movies playing outside on a big blow up screen, so the last night we were there we went to check it out. They had blankets to sit on, popcorn, drinks and a ton of light up toys you could buy. This is Ry and I waiting for Brad to get back with some $$$$ to buy Ry something.
Checking out what to get with Daddy. She decided on a light up necklace with a dolphin =) Sunday we headed to Austin to be a little closer for our drive home on Monday and to check out "the bats." We got a room that had some sort of "bat package" where you got a view of where the bats come out at dusk and a stuffed little bat. I guess a ton of bats hang out under this bridge over the river and at dusk they all fly out and it's quite the sight. Here Ry is waiting to check them out with her bat.
It's kind of hard to see, but there are a bunch of people gathered on the bridge and even in the water waiting to watch.
I'm not sure if it was the distance from our view to the bridge, or the size of the bats, or a combination of both, but it was hard to see the bats coming out from under the bridge and Ry definitely couldn't see them. Oh well, we tried. I think if there is a next time, we will watch from the bridge ;)
Overall, it was a great trip and we will definitely be going back! If you've never been you have to check out Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa. This is a wonderful family resort!
