Post #1: Our Trip to Arizona

Brad and I took a weekend trip to Prescott, AZ! We visited Brad's Aunt Sharen and Uncle Randy and their two boys Hunter and Landon for Landon's High school graduation. The kiddos stayed with both sets of grandparents while we were away, so a big thank you to Grammy, Papa, Maw, & Poppie! Without you this fun little trip would not have been possible!

Luckily, we landed in AZ at 8 a.m. so we were fortunate enough to spend a whole day sight seeing! Unfortunately, we did not get to visit the Grand Canyon this trip, but gives us a good reason to go back with the kiddos soon! Anyway, our first stop was Montezuma's Castle in Camp Verde. The Sinagua farmers built their homes way up in the rocks!

Pictures do not even come close to how unreal and beautiful this is in person!

How they climbed up to their home.....crazy people...... I accidentally erased the picture of our second stop, which was shopping and lunch in Sadona, which was beyond beautiful!

Our third stop was Jerome. This was a tall mountain we drove up to visit a place that used to be an asylum! Our ears even popped as we were driving up and it was supper crazy the winding rode that lead the way. They turned this old asylum into a hotel/restaurant/bar! Not sure who would want to stay in this hotel, it was super creepy! Here is Brad outside the front of the hotel pointing out a creepy head in a cage hanging right in front of the door. Who would even go in and actually stay after seeing this? We were told that this place is happening on Halloween, go figure!

Up close.....

This old creepy car was in the parking lot.
The other side of the hotel which is the restaurant and bar where we had a drink.

Landon before the graduation ceremony.

Saturday we took another drive to I don't remember where, but it was cool, and super windy!

Landon and his girlfriend of two years, Elizabeth, had a combined graduation party at her parent's house. This is Brad with his super cool cousins! Hunter is two years older than Landon and is starting at Northern Arizona University in the fall!

Proud parents!

The gifts and cake

Uncle Randy & Aunt Sharen surprised Landon and Elizabeth with a family trip to California, how cool is that?!

We went back to the house to continue the party!

We had such a great time and can't wait to go back with the kiddos! Thank you Uncle Randy and Aunt Sharen for your hospitality!!!

Michelle, Addie and Emmie came over to play a couple of weeks ago. Eli enjoyed catching up with his girlfriend!

Love this of my sweet Ry!!!

Sweet girls! Michelle had a great time working for some smiles here ;)

Eli's first ride in the car!!!

We went over to my parent's house on Mother's day. Obviously I was horrible at taking pictures considering I didn't get any with me and the kiddos or any of us with my mom :( I did happen to get a few though. Check out this cute, silly guy.....

Saturday we went over to my friend Ronda and T.J.'s place for dinner. We had a great time and dinner was delicious!

Ready to eat!

Eli just started holding his own cup this week, such a big boy!

Drinkin buddies ;)

Ry woke up from her nap and helped herself to some chips! She climbs up on the trash can in the pantry and helps herself to whatever she can get her hands on. In this case, a bag of her favorite chips.
