Our Week of Fun

I had such a fantastic week spending time with my sweet baby girl and hubby, it's going to be so hard to go back to work tomorrow!!! The countdown has already started, just three more weeks until my next long break!

Here is our week in pictures.

Of course our week included shopping, her is our little cutie before heading to the mall.

Such a happy baby!

She is so close to crawling, she sort of does an army crawl right now. She is everywhere, and she gets to where she wants to go fast! We just put all the plug covers on all the outlets she can get to. She went to reach for one in the office yesterday and we figured it was time. She loves making her way to the entertainment center and playing with the handles on the drawers!


This picture is from Thanksgiving, she looked so cute in her kitty cat outfit and boots!


Finally, an updated picture of our little family. We are getting family pictures done in a couple of weeks, can't wait!

This was Rylee watching Brad put up the Christmas tree, she was so amazed. There is nothing like the fresh smell of a real Christmas tree!

Friday we went and picked up Aunt Mary Jo and went to see Grandma in Little Elm. We had such a nice visit, we are so happy she moved here (and so close to our house)!

We had to wait to decorate the tree because we had to wait for it to fall some. Saturday morning Brad and I decorated the tree. Rylee loved making her way to all the boxes and bags of tree decorations.


Every night, Brad walks around the house with Rylee and she helps him close all the blinds, she loves it! And then in the morning she helps open them too, it's so sweet watching them together!

Sneak Peek....

My amazing sister took pictures of Rylee at her house Tuesday for our Christmas cards. She took over 100 pictures, we narrowed it down to about 20 and then Brad and I picked our favorites for our card, which was really hard I might say. She has already started making our card and they are so freaking cute I couldn't wait to share! Once I get my flash drive back from her I will have to post the rest of the pictures ;)

Santa's Little Helper

Couldn't get a smile, but still so cute! Unfortunately you only get one pose. There was another one where she was looking at him and it was pretty cute, but I wanted the one of her sweet little face! She loved his beard too, good thing it was real ;)

It's Starting to Look A lot Like Christmas.....

Let me start off by saying how great it was to sleep in till 7:30 this morning! Rylee is still sleeping too and it's 7:57, which is why I am able to post right now. I am so happy to finally be on Thanksgiving break, I've been counting down since the first day of school!

We had a busy weekend going to our friend's baby shower Saturday night and then putting up Christmas lights yesterday and then to Chris and Chrissy's to get Christmas pictures of all the girls together for my parent's Christmas cards. Thank goodness Chrissy has an awesome camera and she is so talented b/c it was not easy trying to get 3 small girls all looking and smiling at the camera at the same time! She took over 100 pictures and I can't wait to see them, they wouldn't download right while we were there, of course ;)

Chrissy is taking pictures of Rylee for our Christmas card on Tuesday and I can't wait, hopefully she will cooperate! I have two outfits for her and a lot of fun accessories for the picture too! Hopefully she will do great b/c we are also going to try and take pictures of her in several tutus and large tea cups, girls are so fun!

Brad is meeting us at the mall today after work so we can get pictures of Rylee with Santa! We figure it won't be as crazy if we go during the week and before Thanksgiving, I hope! I will post pictures later ;)

Here she is on all fours. I have a video of her I need to post too. She is so close to crawling, she gets up on all 4's and rocks back and fourth and then lunges forward. Poor baby is trying so hard!

This was at our friends house (Ryan and Amber) for Aaron and Amber's baby shower. Baby Mason will be here in January and we can't wait! We had such a great time spending time with friends we don't get to see often! Rylee was so good and everyone loved her (how could you not)!

Ryan and Amber already had their tree up too, a pink one! Rylee loved it! I don't think Ryan got a say in how the tree was decorated, heee...hee...heee

We are getting our tree Friday and can't wait! It's going to be fun watching Rylee roll to it over and over and having to move her back, or maybe crawling. (Uh oh!) We put our tree in the living room, which is where Rylee plays.

Here is the finished product. The picture just doesn't do it justice though, I promise it looks a lot better in person. After last year and Rylee on the way Brad decided it was the last year to put lights on the roof, unless we pay someone else to do it. After having Rylee we just think differently about things and realized it was not worth taking the chance of something happening if you don't have to!

I Just Couldn't Help Myself...

I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet, but couldn't wait any longer to get into the Christmas spirit! Just bought these adorable Christmas stockings, love them!

Roadtrip

Rylee had her first road trip this weekend! We drove to Tulsa to go to the world's biggest gun show, exciting I know. Rylee did sooooo good in the car. She hung out just looking out the window and playing with her toys. About an hour later she got a little fussy for about 10 min. and I thought oh, no we should turn around and go home, but then she fell asleep for most of the ride!

Pops was selling his awesome knives there and Brad stayed with him doing the whole guy thing of selling knives and looking at all kinds of guns and gadgets while Rylee, Mom and I went shopping. We did go to the gun show for about an hour, but Rylee got a little bored (such a girl already).

Rylee did awesome on the ride home too, which was even longer than the way there. Why is that, that it seems to always take longer getting home than going?

We have a new little morning routine. When Rylee gets up in the morning she comes to our bed so I can snuggle with her before getting ready for work. Then she watches cartoons while I get ready. Such a big girl!

Mom got Rylee a couple of Christmas books. Brad read her one before putting her down, she loves helping us read to her by touching all the pages and helping turn them!

This is Brad's new toy that he got at the gun show. He got it for the office, which he wants to turn it into a war room. It even works too, we are going to have to take it out to the cabin and try it out!

Here is Rylee working on crawling. She is getting up on all fours now. She mainly gets up on her knees and then scoots forward using her head, it's so funny!
