Memorial Weekend

I watched E, Berk and P.J. for a little while Thursday and snapped a picture of this cutie!

Ry's Memorial Day flag

Ry has been very into Toy Story lately and would constantly say to me, " where's my Buzz?" I explained that she didn't have a Buzz to look for, but that we can look for one next time we went to the store. So, when we were at Target we found a Buzz and Woody and she was so excited. She carried them around with her everywhere!

But....... then she told me that her Buzz and Woody didn't work (go figure). So me being the crazy person I am got her a Buzz and Woody that worked. Brad and I had a date night Friday and went by Target on the way to pick Ry up and bought her Buzz, Woody was all sold out, but Plano had ONE. I tried to just get one online and you would think these things were gold or something b/c I couldn't find one anywhere! Luckily, Saturday morning I called the Plano store and they had ONE left, so I had them hold it and Ry and I made a special trip to Plano for Woody. Can we say spoiled??!! But this face makes it sooooo worth it! Now she carries ALL 4 of them around!

Sunday it was nice and windy so we finally tried out Ry's kite she got from the Easter bunny. I think Brad had just as much fun as Ry if not more!

Sunday evening we went over to our neighbor's to grill out and swim!

Monday we headed over to Josh and Katie's new house in Fate. I am so sad I didn't get pictures of sweet Tucker and Rylee together =(

I told Ry to move PD so I could see her firecracker shirt and she did this...... smarty pants!

I am so thankful for the men and women who serve our country to keep us safe! I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial weekend!

Buddies, Nursery Additions & STREP!!!

Last Wednesday my sister and I, along with Michelle and some of her friends, took the girls to a play, Giggle Giggle Quack at the Dallas Children's Theater.

Ry and Addie before the play. Ry ran around the whole theater like a wild child, I was a little nervous, but once it started she was so good! She lasted the whole play!

I forgot to put Ry's sheets in the dryer after I washed them, so she got to stay up late until they were finished. Ry lasted longer than Daddy!

I got this clock for above his changing table. I found it at Target and thought it was perfect!

My mom watched Ry on Thursday so I could clean and when I dropped her off she had a runny nose. I thought it was just allergies, but then my mom said her eyes and nose were runny and she had a low temp after her nap and didn't really eat all day. I checked her mouth and realized that three of her molars were coming in, so figured that's what the problem was.

That night she barely ate any dinner and by bedtime she was running a 102 temp. I made her an appointment Friday morning to make sure she didn't have a cold on top of getting her molars and found out she has STREP! I don't know how in the world she got it considering everyone we know hasn't had it and she stays home with me. In her whole 2 years she has been sick twice and both times with strep (1st when she was 8mo. old).

This is my poor baby waiting to go to the doctor, breaks my heart to see her like this =(, but I got cuddles ALL day =)

I finally got her to eat something, Chick Fil A of course, and she enjoyed a vanilla milkshake!

That night there was a rainbow out back and we took Ry outside to see it, kinda hard to see in the picture.

By Saturday she was already much better, but not 100%. That evening the Ry we know started to slowly come back =)

I sat down the lap top to throw something away and when I came back I found this.....

Sunday we got donuts for breakfast and they always have balloons to give the kiddos. This was a flower, but Brad turned it into a hat, Ry thought it was pretty cool!

I don't think Ruger enjoyed it as much...

Mother's Day, Baby Update & Other Happenings

I had to sneak in Ry's room to get a pic of all the animals she has to sleep with: bunny, minnie, panda, pick dog, lamb and kitty!

I was making dinner the other night and gave Ry a snack to occupy her in the family room. I went to check on her and she was gone. I found her in our room, she climbed up on our bed, tray, snack and all! This is her favorite place =)

This is Ry's new thing. We were chasing each other in the backyard and this is her sneaking up on me! It's hilarious!!!

Brad and his dad went fishing on Friday and caught a bunch of fish, so Saturday Maw, Poppie, Grammy, Papa and Uncle J came over to fry it all up with us. I was not very good about taking pictures, but got this cute one of Ry and her Grammy & Maw =)

We had our 20 week sono and confirmed we're having a BOY! I didn't really have any pics to post b/c he wasn't cooperating besides proving he's a boy! He was facing my back the whole time and we couldn't get him to move. So we got pictures of his hands, feet and you know what else =)

Most of you know how I am and just couldn't stand it. I ordered the bedding the day we found out, it came Friday and we painted his room Sunday.
