Rylee's furniture is here!

So, Rylee's furniture finally made it! I have to confess that even though I was so excited for it to finally be here, I was in tears at one point. It seems that we bought the biggest furniture we could find to go in the littlest room in the world! After trying to rearrange her furniture several ways and me standing in the doorway with tears in my eyes, Brad calmly told me to go sit down and he would figure something out. Thank God, because I almost lost it! Anyway, it is as good as it going to get and after putting everything together I love it, it finally looks like a little princesses room.
I seriously wish I had a video camera rolling while Brad and I tried to center her letters, we are both perfectionist, so it was quite hilarious!

Brad says he wants to steal Rylee's crib sheet, it is sooooo soft!

Hanging the shelves were quite the task too!

We bought a picture today to go over the dresser/changing table. Of course we are going to have to wait and so will you !
Here is Brad enjoying the incredibly large, but very cozy chair after all of his hard work, I love you babe!

School Shower

My fabulous team threw me a baby shower at school this week. The decorations were so cute and the cake was especially yummy! I am so lucky to have them in my lives and we have become so close this year that I don't know what I would do without them! Unfortunately we did not take a picture together, so I will have to get one and post it later. Thank you Brooke, Tari and Sarah! He are a couple of pictures:

Notice the cake says, "Happy Labor Day!" So creative aren't they?!!!

Tari made these center pieces for each of the tables, so cute!!!

They made up a little guessing game, the winner who guessed the closest one the bottle of yummy candy.

Baby Shower

Brad and I finally had our Baby Shower! It seems like all our friends and family who are expecting have had theirs and we were the last ones. Everything was beautiful from the decorations and cake, to the yummy food! Thank you to my awesome parents, mother and father in law and sister for putting everything together and making our shower something to really remember! Thank you to all our friends and family for coming and sharing this special time with Brad and I and all of the wonderful gifts, we are so blessed to have such great people in our lives! Here are a few pictures from our special day.

Proud parents to be!

Beautiful diaper cake made by my wonderful mother in law and her assistant at work!

The yummy, yummy cake that my sister had made!

More sweets please....

This is an adorable burp cloth that read, "Sorry Ladies My Daddy is Taken!"

Belly Pictures

Here are a couple pics out of many that Chrissy took of me, she is quite the photographer! 34 weeks and 4 more to go! Rylee's furniture shipped from Canada yesterday and should be here by Friday, hopefully. I will have to post some pictures when it finally arrives. Hopefully friends and family coming in for the shower this weekend will get to see it.

Belly Buddies

This is a picture of my prego buddy, Michelle, across the hall from me at school. She is having a little girl too, Addison, on April 2nd. We are only two weeks apart and it has been awesome having her to go through all of this with. We have really gotten to know each other and I am so thankful to have someone to share pregnancy ups and downs with. We have both laughed and cried over who knows what, from "Does this bone hurt?" to "Do you feel you need a oxygen tank to get around?" The best Michelle asked lately was sleeping habits and feeling like there is a tsunami when she turns over in bed. We are both so ready and excited to meet our little ones, but I will miss her when she beats me to the finish line!

Waiting for Rylee

So, I have finally jumped on the blogging bandwagon. I figured with little Rylee on the way, now was as good of a time as any. Chrissy so graciously helped me with creating our little family site, without her this couldn't have happened. I am the most computer illiterate person I know. I really thought I had improved since becoming a 2nd grade teacher and using the computer for everything. Apparently I was wrong! Well, 5 and a half weeks until the little munchkin is finally here! I am being induced April 15th or 16th. We are so excited and are even losing our patience a bit. Once she's here I'll probably want her to go back in :)
Here is a picture of me in Rylee's empty room. We are still anxiously waiting for her furniture. They said 12-14 weeks and we are going on week 13, so hopefully any day now!
