Eli Is Finally Here!

Eli was born at 7:56 a.m. and weighed 7lbs 11oz. Everything went great and he is absolutley perfect! So excited to finally hold my sweet boy!
Eli's first nurse was the same nurse we had with Rylee, she was so awesome! I still can't remember if her name was Jennifer or Jessica, but she gave Eli his first bath in my recovery room so everyone could watch.

I couldn't get out of bed yet and called the nurse in to take this picture of Brad and Eli sleeping. The Pomeroy clan came back again in the afternoon with the girls since they were both in school when he was born! They are such proud little cousins =)

Ready to go home!
Finally home! Ry is so sweet with him, always saying, "thats my baby brother Eli." Although she is sweet with him we are having minor difficulties in the behavior category. She constantly wants to get in Eli's bed, swing, chair and likes taking off with his pacifier in her mouth. She even made my mom put one of Eli's diapers on her, which was quite hilarious! We made her look at herself in the mirror and she agreed it was too small finally. Hopefully the acting out passes sooner than later, but overall I think she is handling the transition quite well!

Thank you to all of the friends and family that came to visit us, it really means so much to us! Thank you Maw and Poppie for staying with Rylee while we were in the hospital, I know she had a blast! I already have a ton more pictures to post, but not sure when that will happen. Still trying to figure everything out, but each day gets better!

Twas the Night Before Eli

I remember seeing pictures of my mom when she was pregnant with my sister standing in front of their firplace. Then the same picture when she was pregnant with me, but had my sister sitting on the firplace and then of course when pregnant with my brother and both Chrissy and I sitting on the firplace. Thought it would be fun to do the same......

Ummmm......yes, this would be my child who decided it was a fun game to stand on top of her sit and spin and jump off! I might also add that the top part she is standing on, is not very sturdy at all!

I guess I have been pretty boring lately, because Ry has been crazy obsessed with torturing Ruger! I think it is so hilarious.......for all the times he has driven me crazy!

Love this one =) And look who can now open the refrigerator......fun times! I went upstairs to get her clothes and came down to this.......

BTW.......eggs are not fun to clean up at all!!!!
