2 Weeks!

Ry checking out her brother, she's so sweet!

My mom helped out all last week and part of this week! She kept the house picked up, entertained Rylee, snuggled with both my munchkins, cooked dinner, cleaned, laundry...... you name it, she did it! She even slept over a couple of nights and got up with Rylee so I could sleep in! Mom you're AMAZING, thank you for all that you do!!!
I think Ry got the idea of tying herself up from her Poppie and enjoyed doing this with Grammy too!
Even Grammy got tied up =)

so sweet!

Ry telling Eli to say, "cheese!"

I mentioned in the previous post (i think) that Ry has been into dressing up lately. Well, she's been asking where her princess shoes are. Berkley has the whole shebang for each princess, so the least I could do was buy the kid some princess shoes, right?! Well, she was more than pleased to take a special trip to Target to get some!
I came out of the bedroom one morning to find this.....

I think she likes her princess shoes.....
Wherever Eli is, Ry is right there to lay next to him (most of the time). If he's in another room, she asks, "where's Eli?" Ry even ran some errands with Grammy and had to take.......

Safety first! Ry buckling Eli into his swing.

Grammy getting some snuggle time.

Ry ran errands with Brad last weekend and I thought she looked so big here =(

This boy loves to stretch!

Grammy bought Eli a bath towel. She felt bad that he had to use Ry's pink ones =)

After Eli's bath Ry insisted that she get in Eli's tub too, so Grammy gave her this set up to eat her muffins and watch cartoons!

Eli in his swing

Ry wearing Grammy's reading glasses, so cute!

Grammy getting some snuggles before she left to go home =(
Chrissy came over to try and take a couple more pictures of Eli, but it didn't work out so well.

I guess Eli thought 2 weeks was too old to have newborn pics taken, stinker!!! I swear you can tell a difference already between the pictures taken at the beginning of this post to the end! He has already changed so much! Love this face! I have caught a couple of smiles and know for sure he has a dimple in his left cheek, but not sure about the right. I wonder if he will have one dimple like Ry (Ry has a dimple in her right cheek) or two like his daddy!

Bath time, I think he looks so big here!

Look who's 2 weeks old! We had Eli's 2 week check up on Thursday and he has already gained 13 oz and grown 1 1/2 inches! I get so worried he's not getting enough since I'm breastfeeding and can't tell how much he's getting, but apparently I'm doing great! The doctor said they like to see breastfed babies back at their birth weight by the 2 week mark (7 lbs 11 oz) and Eli was 8 lbs 8 oz!!!

I LOVE this little man!!!

Ry's new favorite thing is giving kisses with food in her mouth and then saying, "_____ kisses!" Here she's telling me, "strawberry kisses!"

I hope everyone enjoys this cool weather weekend!!!

Our First Week At Home

Sunday my mother in law made a big dinner for everyone to come over and eat and to visit with our new addition, it was great!

Eli with Uncle J & Aunt Ray
And with Ry

Eli loves his swing

I bought little gifts and wrapped them for Rylee to open here and there. Here she is working on one of her new puzzles, she is amazing at them! She had this one figured out on her own by the end of the day!

Milk drunk and ready for his first doctors appointment, which went GREAT by the way! He has already gained back 2.5 oz since leaving the hospital!

There is a ton of this going on....

Ry dressed up in her Cinderella dress and I asked her if she wanted daddy to dress up Ruger. Here she is waiting ......

And when she saw him........

Poor boy!

Ry loves to have Eli hang out with her while she has her milk and watches a show before bed, it's so sweet!

It was so cute! Ry was checking Eli out and said, "Mommy....Eli's eyes are black?" I told her they were not black, that they were just dark, but that they would change as he got older. Then we went through every one's eye color. Then she says, "Mommy....we call Eli, Eli boo?" I said of course, I wouldn't have it any other way =)

snug as a bug

Ry wanted to hold Eli how "Mommy holds Eli." She cracks me up and is the sweetest thing ever!!!

Rylee was helping Brad water the grass out back and I happened to catch her do this.......

Hilarious!!!

Getting ready for bed

After I tucked Rylee in bed, I came down to find Brad and Eli watching t.v. like this......

Sweetest thing ever, such a proud Daddy!!!

Can't believe this little man is already a week old! We love him so much!
