8 Months Old

Rylee turned 8 months on Tuesday and I still can't believe it! Our little baby girl isn't so little any more :( She is doing so many new things:
  • Crawls everywhere she goes
  • Can go from laying down to sitting up and vice versa all by herself
  • Starting to pull up on things
  • Is eating apple puffs, yogurt malts, bananas and yogurt
  • Takes a big girl bath in the tub and loves it
  • Talking like crazy, mainly "da..da.." and "bah..bah" and a lot of other mumble jumble I won't try and type
  • Has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on bottom
  • Loves peek-a-boo
  • Loves music
  • Can hold her own bottle

We love this little girl with everything we have and could not imagine our lives without her! She is the happiest, easy going baby and we can't wait to see all the new things she will be doing in the months to come!

I am picking up the disc from our photographer today of our family pictures last weekend, so I will post a couple tonight to share!

Enjoy the many pictures from our week/weekend!

Mom took this picture this week, such a little stinker!
I love how she is using pink dog as her pillow (and her little butt up in the air)!

This is when Rylee went shopping with Grammy and held her own bottle.

Rylee loves making her way to the Christmas tree and playing with the ornaments and presents, she's already ready for Christmas ;)

Ry's new hat, so cute!

Eating her apple puffs and yogurt malts........yum!

Wrestling with Ruger

Rylee won...

We went over to Brad's parent's house Saturday to see the whole fam and make Italian sausage. Here is Rylee wearing one of Poppies hats.

And trying to get his

Rylee helped make sausage too. She loves her Aunt Diane!

Cutting all the fat and meat off the bone

Meat ready to go

Grinding the meat

Making the sausage (looks kinda gross, but taste oh so good)

Finished product... 48 lbs of sausage!

Our good friends Josh and Katie came over to visit too. Rylee loves them!

This was from today, playing peek-a-boo!

Busy, Busy, Busy....

Rylee is officially crawling and already getting into everything. You have to keep such a close eye on her because she is fast and very curious, I like to call her "Nosie Rosie!" Just this week she has also started to try and pull herself up on things, another reason to keep a close eye on her, she is keeping us very busy. We lowered her crib to the second to last notch, but we are now thinking we need to lower it all the way (don't know why we didn't do it in the first place)! When she wakes up she now pushes down on her bumper pads and tries to reach for the crib rail. She has even tried pulling her self up on the glass table, which makes me a nervous wreck, she is so close. Anyway, that's my update for now, enjoy our pics from the week/weekend!

Hanging out watching t.v. with Daddy

Mom took this picture, love how her foot is hanging out of her p.j.'s!

This is Rylee's new favorite toy that she has found on her journey around the house...

So stinkin cute!

Sleeping Beauty

Rylee was helping Grammy vacuum the other day. Mom said she followed her around the house as she vacuumed and played with the cord.

Friday I took Rylee to my work Christmas party at Josephine's. She was so good and enjoyed seeing her BFF Addie! They haven't seen each other since August. Her Mommy is a third grade teacher and a good friend!

So hard to get them to both cooperate, they were trying to catch up on so much lost time....

This is another friend at work, Amy and her adorable little boy Ben. He was getting all the ladies!

Addie and Rylee enjoyed trying to get one another's bows, so cute!

"Come a little closer."

Most of the Tadlock babies, we had a few partners in crime missing. Look at Addie and Rylee, taking turns trying to get one another!

Looks like she's up to no good, she loves crawling under the table!

We went to Brad's parents house Saturday morning to see Maw and Poppie. Brad helped Pops put down tile floors, it turned out so good. Here is Rylee with Maw. She looks like a little puppy chewing on her blanket.

Rylee on a cute little bench just her size!

Rylee with her Poppie

Last night Rylee enjoyed getting into the entertainment center drawers. She is now opening them and getting what she finds inside.

I kept calling her name to get her to look at me, but she was way to determined to get inside those drawers!

Rylee's First Snow...

I was so excited when Brad told me to look outside Wednesday morning and saw that it was snowing! It wasn't much, but a little snow is better than no snow at all, right?! Anyway, I was even more excited that Rylee woke up before I had to leave for work and was able to take her outside to experience her first snow together, I only wish Brad was still home :( Luckily Mom was already over and took a couple of pictures to capture the moment. Hopefully we will get a lot more snow next time.

Mom took this picture of Rylee at her house playing with a dog that sings (barks) "Jingle Bells." The ears and tail have bells on them and they move up and down, she loves it!
Rylee enjoying a little snow with me
I took this before getting her out of the car at Mom and Dad's, she looked so cute all snuggled up. Poor baby has strep :( she is so tough though and you wouldn't even really know (except when it's time to go to bed at night)! She is already feeling much better :)

Daddy and Rylee watching the news Friday morning, she will watch anything!

We finally got our Santa picture back from being framed. Rylee loved playing with the paper it was wrapped in while we were hanging it. Why do babies have more fun with things that aren't toys?!

Where's Rylee?

There she is! I think this picture is hilarious, I called her name and this is what I got!

Our finished mantel, love it!

Here is a video of Rylee from the other night. She has officially started crawling! We are so proud, but nervous about all the things she will be getting into!
