You are 5 months old! You get cuter and sweeter by the day and you have started doing so many new and fun things this past month! One more month and you'll be half way to one, it's so crazy how fast time goes by (especially when I'm not ready for it to)! We love you so much sweet boy and can't wait to see what next month brings!

Here are some things you are doing at 5 months:
- You are finally sleeping through the night! You go to bed between 7 and 7:30 and will sleep till about 6:30, eat and go right back to sleep until about 8:30!
- You found your thumb and suck it all the time, it's so cute! You suck your right thumb, so I wonder if you're going to be left handed like Mommy.
- You have started baby food and have had: sweet potatoes, sweet peas, squash, bananas, and pears. I think squash has been your favorite so far!
- You get excited when it's time to eat in your high chair. I think because you know you're getting big boy food and not just boring milk. You start squealing and kicking your feet. After each bite you go mmmmm, and will sometimes squeal if I'm not shoveling it fast enough (sounds like someone else I know (Mr. P))!
- You already love your Blue Dog and love to sleep with it on your face, which Daddy doesn't like. It will be time for you to nap or go to bed at night and when I lay you down you find your thumb right away and then sort of wine. As soon as I put B.D. by your face you stop and go to sleep. I have even taken him off your face and by the time I get down stairs and look at the monitor, you have already put it back on.
- You have rolled over about 5 times, but think it has been about a week since you have done it again. I guess you wanted to make sure I saw you do it so I would leave you alone =)
- You love to sit in your stroller like a big boy without your car seat and even rode like a big boy at Walmart last weekend for the first time!
- You are reaching and grabbing EVERYTHING in sight and putting it in your mouth.
- You are ticklish EVERYWHERE! My favorite is when I kiss your neck, you always scrunch up and laugh!
- You love to watch your big sister! She is so sweet with you and I know you already love her too! You always smile when she's in your face talking to you and you follow her with your eyes wherever she goes.
- You love to be outside just like your sister.
- You are wearing 6-12 mo clothes, size 3 diaper and size 2 shoe!
- You can turn around in your exersaucer and jumparoo.
- You love when Mommy makes you jump in you jumparoo, but haven't quite figured out how to do it yourself.
We love you big boy, more than words could ever say!!!

Ry was busy writing on her white board she made at Home Depot with her Daddy. She came up and said, "look Mommy, I drew you!" I thought this was awesome, you can totally see a face, so proud!
Not so proud.....
She is going through a fun stage called " I wonder what will happen if I write on _____?!"
She was pretty excited about wearing her 
She looked so sweet taking a nap with her Strawberry Shortcake doll!
But not so sweet stamping her entire body with her 140 piece stamp set she got for Christmas.... 
We will be taking a break from stamps for a while!
Eli is into grabbing everything in sight these days, he has a death grip too! I love how he is holding on with both hands as if for dear life!
We discovered Sunday morning that Eli had finally found his thumb in the middle of the night and has become a HUGE fan!
There it is again...
Every morning Ry says, "Eli's awake!" even when he isn't. She will play, but come and check the monitor every so often to see if he has woken up yet. This morning I had to take pictures to document what EVERY morning looks like waiting for Eli to wake up...

Friday I took Ry to a little dippers cooking class at Market Street with Chrissy and Berk. She made a chicken casserole, green bean bundles wrapped in bacon and a brownie and pudding trifle, it was DE-

Every kiddo got to come up and be a helper at some point. Berk and Ry poured the pudding mix into the jars.
Ry taste tested everything she was making! She even had a couple of out burst because I kept taking stuff away from her. You would have thought the kid hadn't eaten in days! At least she liked it though =)

Friday evening we left for East Texas for our cousin Blake's wedding. Ry's favorite part of staying at the hotel was pushing the elevator buttons! Here we are going down for breakfast in our

Poor Eli cried for about the first hour until I finally got him to sleep. He slept for pretty much the rest of the reception.

Ry was a dancing fool! She ran laps and danced the ENTIRE time! There were some little boys break dancing, so here is Ry break dancing too!
FYI..... this is not sweat from her sweet dance moves, but from the enjoyment of helping herself to the water fountain!
Ry would dance with anyone who would dance with her! This is sweet George, a good family friend!
