Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my parent's house.
Ry and Papa
Presents, presents and more presents!
Poor Eli woke up with a low fever Christmas Eve. It never fails, I think every year someone is sick at Christmas. Last year it was Ry.
I got a couple of  Christmas games for Ry's Christmas party at school and thought the cousins would enjoy them.
Aunt Ray and Ry. I love how this pic captures one of the rings being tossed at Ry's antlers.
All the adults
Sweet Elliott giving Eli snuggles.
Love them!
Presents!
I think someone was excited about her Fur Real Kitty!
Eli was not really into opening presents, poor guy.
Poor baby.
Dad enjoyed playing with some of the kids toys.
Feeling a little better and decorating cookies for Santa.

Ice...Ice...Baby!

Thursday night we were hit with a nice ice storm. School was cancelled Friday and we enjoyed a weekend of hanging out with the neighbors, watching the kids play and playing a little ourselves! At first we were bummed it was ice and not snow, but soon changed our mind once we started sledding. Ice is way more fun!

Brad helping Eli slide down the driveway.
So cute all bundled up!
Ry sledding with her buddy Noelle.
Eli and I sliding down our drive way.
Ry and Noelle.
Eli testing out a laundry basket.
Despite the look on his face, he did enjoy it.
Ry making ice angles.
Eli loved eating the ice!
I love this picture of the icicles, even on Eli's little car.
Saturday we decided it would be fun to enjoy a fire while watching the kiddos.
Which turned into roasting marshmallows.
And making s'mores!

Then someone introduced alcohol to the mix.
And cooking out in the street!
Let the racing begin!
Ry was non stop for two days!
Analease and I about to take a shot!
Race time!
Then the guys started racing one another!
Good times!
My parents lost power late Thursday night. Brad went and picked up my mom and Baxter and dad came after work. We enjoyed their company for 2 days and we didn't want them to leave! Grammy is good at spoiling us, I miss her dearly. I told her she didn't have to leave...
We went to the Gaylord Ice Sunday evening with Brad's parents. We were not worried about the drive there, but the drive home in the dark with temperatures dropping. I'm not going to lie, it was an intense hour ride home when normally it would have been thirty minutes. We made it home safely and had a blast.

The kids loved all The Christmas decorations at the Gaylord.
They had the coolest gingerbread house display. It looked like it took forever!
Before heading in all snuggled up. The good thing about going on a crazy weather day, there was no line at all!
The sculptures were amazing! I wish I would have taken more pictures of them, but I felt like I was getting frost bite every time I took my gloves off.

Riding in an ice taxi!
Ry and Brad Riding another ice slide on tubes. This slide was so fun and so fast! Eli was too little to ride.
