Our First Weekend Home

It has been a crazy couple of days. The lack of sleep, figuring our this whole feeding thing, and being emotional has really been a bigger challenge than I thought. I would not give it up for anything in the whole world though! Rylee is so perfect and sweet, she makes the cutest sounds, and is so cuddly. We discovered she has dimples like her daddy and she stretches and sleeps like him too! We still can't figure out who she looks like, I think she is too little to tell.

We went to the pediatrician yesterday, for Rylee's check up. She was so good and everything went great. The doc said she is very alert and strong. He did all of these different tests on her to check her reflexes and she did great. She has even gained back 4 and a half ounces since leaving the hospital (and here I was all worried). She does have a little jaundice, but we got lab work done and everything came back awesome, so no worries! Here are a couple of pictures from our first weekend home (it is so hard to choose)!
Cuddle time with Daddy!

Naptime with Daddy, sooooo tired!

Snuggles with Mommy!

I came out of the bathroom from brushing my teeth and Brad was reading Rylee the bedtime story he would read to her when she was in my belly. It was so sweet I had to run and get the camera.

Getting some rays to help her jaundice

She loves her swing!

Had to get a close up of that beautiful face!!!

She is so freaking precious!!!! I can't decide which is my favorite pic :)

Hang in there. The emotions, lack of sleep, and feeding all get better once you get a few weeks under your belt. It was hard for me because I just didn't know what to do when he was screaming, but you start to figure it out.

Let me know if you ever need anything!!
