Weekends Should Be Longer!!!

I have come to the conclusion that we need three day weekends, 7 days would really be preferable, but never going to happen unfortunately. Not yet anyway ;) I love weekends, waking up to Rylee playing in her crib and being greeted with a huge smile when I go to get her to hanging out in our p.j.'s and watching Saturday/Sunday morning cartoons and cooking breakfast with my hubby. Doesn't get much better than that!
It's hard to believe that Rylee is going to be 6 months this Thursday! We go for her 6 month check up and I can't wait to see how much she has grown! She is doing so good with her baby food and we haven't found a vegetable or fruit that she doesn't like yet. She gets so excited and shakes her arms, hands and feet the whole time, while grunting at the same time. It's pretty darn cute! We call her our little Rollie Polie because she is constantly rolling back and forth whenever we lay her down anywhere, she even tries to roll in her seat, swing and changing table, which has made it very difficult when trying to change her diaper. She loves to tell stories and she giggles all the time now. She reaches for anything in sight and is grabbing everything she can get her hands on, even your face and hair if you're not careful. She is still such a snuggle bug and I hope she stays that way ;)
Here are some pictures of our weekend, enjoy!

This picture is actually from one morning this week. Rylee normally sleeps till about 6:30 ish when I wake her up to take her to Mom and Dad's, or she is still sleeping when I leave for work when my mom comes over to the house. For whatever reason she woke up early so we cuddled until I had to get ready for work. I turned on cartoons for her and she laid there watching cartoons while Brad and I got ready. By the time I was ready she had fallen asleep. I wish I had taken a picture. My mom said she ended up sleeping till 9:30! She looks so tiny in our huge bed!

Such a big girl!
Watching Saturday morning cartoons

She watches t.v. like she know what's going on, sometimes she laughs, but I have no clue what she is laughing about.

Brad was trying to get a picture of the face she makes with her first bite of food. It's hilarious like you putting s*** in her mouth or something. My guess is she is never sure what it's going to be, poor thing!

We met Brad's parents at Genghus Grill (sp?) for lunch Saturday. Rylee just hung out in her car seat with her favorite toy, she was so good. Notice one of her shoes is coming off in the picture, I think I put them on about 15 times while we were there before I gave up.

Rylee with her Poppie

When Rylee got up this morning I brought her to our bed to snuggle and took this picture, I love the look on her face!

I set her down on the couch for a second to get her diaper bag ready before leaving the house. She looked so darn cute w/her little arm propped up on the pillow, I had to run a get my camera of course.

I love how sweet she looks here!

Rylee with her Papa

Here is Rylee working on sitting up all by herself. She can only sit by herself for a couple of seconds before falling over, but we're working on it ;)
