I'm Going To Wrap This Baby In Bubblewrap......

Rylee has had quite the week, and not a good one :( Two Sundays ago she choked on a Doritos so bad that we called 911. She is so good about taking bites of stuff and pretty much eats everything, however, I think because of how thick Doritos are compared to other chips and the shape, this was not a good idea. She started to choke (which she has done before and usually gags until she gets it up) but this time it was not coming up. The fear on her face is something I will never forget! She finally started to throw up, but I never saw the Doritos come out and she kept throwing up. I stayed on the phone with 911 until the ambulance got to our house and by that time she was fine, THANK GOD! Needless to say, we have a CPR class we are going to tomorrow, which is long over due and we should have done a long time ago!!!

Then, 3 days later Rylee was playing in one of her little chairs on the kitchen floor and fell face first onto the tile. As soon as I picked her up I saw a mouth full of blood, and she was crying so hard that no sound was coming out. After cleaning her up we were able to check her teeth, which seemed fine, but her lip and side of her face was swollen to twice the size, THIS BROKE MY HEART! It took what felt like an eternity for her to calm down, but once she did she was her old self again.

The next day she was still a little swollen, but her gum around her front tooth was so bruised that I new I wouldn't feel better until she saw our dentist to double check. Our dentist said that we "dodged a bullet," that she mainly cut her gums and her tooth was only a little mobile, but nothing to worry about. He said to watch it and keep it really clean so it would not get infected. He said that if it turns grey she might have to have surgery, which is pretty much like a root canal, so that her permanent teeth are not affected. We go back next week for him to check up on it.

Needless to say, I have not felt like the best mom here lately! I know I shouldn't beat myself up because she is bound to hurt herself many more times to come, I just HATE that there is nothing I can do about it. I know I can't prevent her from ever feeling pain again, but I sure wish I could!

Enough about that! On to my many pictures of our last couple of weeks:

Rylee lovin on her baby
Not cooperating for a picture, but still cute!

A week ago Friday, I got the pleasure of watching sweet Addie! I took SOOOOOOOO many pictures that all turned out so cute, but would have taken me forever to post them all, so I picked my favorites. Rylee and Addie are so cute together, I know they will be BFF! Here they are eating lunch.

Rylee being a ham!

Rylee showed Addie how much fun it was to spin in chairs!

Addie playing dress up, she loved all of Rylee's fun necklaces!

This is my absolute favorite, so sweet!
Rylee has turned into quite the climber. She already thinks it's time for her to start working out ;)

Such a stinker

Rylee and Daddy, the cutest two people ever!

While we were house sitting for our neighbors Rylee really enjoyed their leap frog alphabet magnet on their refrigerator, so I had to get her one. She does so good with it and can even put the letters in by herself! Too bad this did not last long..... just this week she took it off the refrigerator and put it in Ruger's water bowl and now it doesn't work. It will be a little while before I get her a new one...

Love this pose!

I bought these little containers to put all of her play food in for easy clean up, Rylee decided she likes sitting in them better..........she loves her corn!

Rylee enjoyed a little joyride from daddy in her shopping cart from Grammy and Papa! They were chasing Ruger around the house, Rylee thought it was hilarious. Then, we couldn't get her out of it, every time we took her out she cried to get back in. We had to hide it in our bedroom so she would forget about it.

If you can click on this picture you can see the adorable expression on her face

Another example of Rylee's climbing skills, she's such a stinker. "Time Out" isn't working either, she thinks it's funny. So this table is now upstairs!

Rylee LOVES playing her sandbox

This was the morning after she fell, you can kind of see her swollen lip.

4th of July morning we went to Cafe Brazil for breakfast....YUMMY!

Our little firecracker
Rylee loves biting her own toes.... and mine, not sure why ;)
Rylee loves going pantless, so I put them on her head and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. These pictures crack me up!!!

Rylee waiting for Grammy and Papa to come over for dinner

Rylee and Grammy reading a story, she loves to read!

We are watching our neighbor's house again this week, which means POOL TIME!

Amanda!! I'm so sorry to hear about Rylee's little injuries! I'm so glad she is okay, though. I know you are a great mom, and she is a lucky little girl to have you! She is growing up so fast, and so stinkin' beautiful!! :)

Oh no! Poor Rylee, but I'm glad she's okay. Isn't crazy how fast things can happen and we take every precaution imaginable. Don't be hard on yourself, you're a fantastic mommy. That little princess wouldn't be so stinkin' cute if you weren't :)

What sweet pictures of your little girl. I chuckled b/c I am seeing all of the things my now 5 year old did when she was little. Cracks me up...enjoy it. And don't be too hard on yourself...my little guy @ 9 months face planted into the tile around the fireplace and chipped a tooth. I was heartbroken b/c he was pulling up on me, I was RIGHT there. It's an accident...they happen.

Have a great day!
