I realized when uploading pictures that most of them are taken with the kids at home in their jammies. Just to clarify, we do hang out in our jammies a lot, but in my defense I only take pictures with my nice camera at home b/c I'm too lazy to drag it around w/me. Anyway, here Eli talking on his pretend phone.
feeding their babies
Ry's last soccer game, she scored her first and only goal of the season ;0)
Cleaning and snapping green beans from Poppie and Maw's garden.
A couple of weeks ago I got Eli a potty. He's been taking off his diaper or crying every time he goes in his diaper. I was not planning on potty training him, but wanted him to have the option and see if he was interested, even if it was here and there. When he got up from his nap I put him on it, he wasn't sure at first, but sat there a couple of minutes and peed! We were so excited to say the least, especially when he continued to use it the rest of the day and even the next day. It was hilarious b/c he would have to take off all his clothes before he would sit on it.
Anyway, his peeing in the potty was short lived and only lasted those two days. It is still sitting out, he will strip down and sit and play on it for a while and then ends up peeing in a corner somewhere.... yesterday he actually peed in it after 2 weeks, there is still hope!
Ry coaching Eli through his first pee...
He peed!
Ry helped Eli put $1 in his piggy bank for using the potty.
Eli loves to watch the guys mow the yard!
He also loves putting on my shoes.
So does Ry.
Ry's new favorite thing lately is coloring pictures on the computer! It's nice because she will spend a good chunk of time doing it and I can get stuff done while she's busy.
Eli fell asleep watching t.v. with Daddy, so sweet!
The kids get so excited when Eli's diapers come in the mail! They love to pop the "poppers" and play in the boxes!
I LOVE this! Ry is laughing b/c Eli is in his box backwards.
Decorating her "cat" box before she can play in it. Not sure if you can see, but she drew a dog with a circle and slash through it all by herself! Then she had me write "no dogs allowed" and traced over my letters with a marker.
It was fun letting Eli decorate his box too (can you hear my sarcasm?). Whatever sissy does, Eli has to do it too!
The box only lasts about a day before it ends up in the recycling bin because I can no longer contain myself. It becomes a constant fight with whose is whose box, then they want to put stickers on them, then they like to fill them up with junk and who knows what and scatter it all over the house when they're done, this list goes on! Ry decided to then empty out the entire toy box on the floor and use pillows from my bed to make another cat box. I was thrilled with this idea as well, but soon got over it when they both played in it for a good 2 hours and I was able to watch my guilty pleasure... The Bachelorette ;0)
Another new favorite of Ry's is eating hard boiled eggs "without the yellow." She loves to crack and peel them by herself!
Yummm
Ry wanted to fold the towels before watching her show before bed. I was not one to complain, and she did a great job too! She told us Grammy taught her ;0)
The entire stack of towels she folded by herself!
The rest of these are all from my phone. We swim at the pool pretty much every day, unless it is raining.
My kids are notorious for falling asleep in the car, luckily I can still lay them down when we get home and they will go back to sleep.
Brad and I ate at the Avanti for lunch on my Birthday. Hard to believe we got married there 7 years ago!
Sweet girl riding like a big girl!
Brad and I went out with Scott and Lauren to celebrate me turning 31, Scott would not stop reminding me the entire night how old I was, LOVE these two!
Lauren's first experience jeep surfing, so proud!
Love this girl! We have been best buds since Elementary school, crazy!
Lauren and I took the kids for a picnic and to play at the splash pad in Fairview.
All our little monsters, and play so good together!
More fun at the pool eating melted yogurt raisins.
Ry's new game at Grammy's is shooting toys down off the fountain with the hose.
Ry getting pampered at Sweet & Sassy for Kyleigh's 5th birthday party.
Morning snuggles are my favorite!
Eli looking like a stud in his new hat.
I could just eat up this cuteness!
I have had to remove the kid's play table and chairs from the playroom because Eli was using the chairs to climb up on the kitchen and table, but apparently he doesn't need them anyway...
too cool
My mom sent me this picture with the caption "I can't get this little turtle out of the pool." This kid would swim 24 hours if you let her!
