Last night Rylee climbed out of her crib!!! Brad and I were laying in bed watching a movie and I heard her calling, "Mommy where are you?" I didn't think anything of it until I heard footsteps and couldn't see her on the monitor. By the time I flew out of bed and got to the stairs....there she was almost at the bottom with a big smile on her face! I thank GOD she didn't get hurt!!!
When I took her back to bed I made sure I closed the gate at the top of the stairs this time.
Then..... this morning she climbed out again! Usually I can hear her talking and/or crying for me to come get her, but this morning I heard the gate and her call for me. Sure enough she was waiting at the top of the stairs.
All I can say is she has made our decision very easy about getting her a big girl bed!

Michelle told me about this! Tonight is Ben's first night in his big boy bed, who knows how it will go. We've got the gate ready at the top of the stairs and a baby lock on his door so he can't open it. I'm sure Rylee will be so much better than Ben. Thank God she didn't get hurt climbing out or walking down the stairs.
She is so independent!!! I am so thankful she wasn't hurt! Did you buy a bed this weekend for her!?
