6 Weeks Old

Rylee is 6 weeks old today, hard to believe. She is such a sweetheart and getting big so fast. She has slept a total of 5 hours a couple of times, but she likes to keep me on my toes by not sticking with this particular routine. I think because Daddy has said she needs to sleep in her own room once she starts sleeping longer at night.

She has stared smiling when we talk to her (like a bunch of idiots). You know, when you talk all high pitched and make a really stupid smiley face to make them smile back. Well, we believe this is the cause for her adorable little smile and it just melts my heart ;)

She is starting to enjoy tummy time too, it is so cute. She does this little high pitched squeal that is hilarious. Of course every time I try to catch it on video she stops, but I will keep trying.

She does very well with her baby Einstein gym too. She will actually play for a good 20 minutes. She looks all around and I point out all the things I think she's looking at, I like to think she knows what I'm telling her. She also hits and grabs at the toys hanging down, I'm not sure if it is deliberate or not, but I like to think so. Doesn't every mommy think their baby is the smartest baby in the world?

Here are a couple of pictures of our little peanut.

Here she is in an outfit from Uncle Josh and Aunt Katie

So sweet!

Oh the trouble they're going to cause...

Where's Rylee?

There she is!

So cute in her hippo towel!

Miss April

I had to post these pictures of Rylee in her Miss April outfit Grandma got her in Canton. I've been waiting for her to be able to wear it, but it was too big. Now our little munchkin can finally wear it! Isn't it the cutest?

Baby Legs

Had to share a picture of Rylee trying out her baby legs! They are a little big and looked a little silly, but still so cute! It was so pretty outside this morning we decided to walk to Dunkin Donuts and eat breakfast outside, but it was a little chilly. Rylee was all ready to go in her hat and baby legs and then we decided it was too cold. We will have to go for a walk later when it warms up a bit.

Look at that face!
Check out my baby legs! Those are some pretty gangly legs!

One Month Old!

Yesterday Rylee turned one month old, hard to believe! We had her one month check up and she gained another pound and grew another quarter of an inch. She is now in the 83rd percentile for height (don't know where that came from) and 63rd percentile for her weight. Everything went great, but we are not looking forward to her two month check up, she will be getting her first shots :( Here are a couple of pictures:

Tummy Time, not a big fan yet!

She loves her baby Einstein activity gym! She looks around at everything and even tries to grab the toys that are hanging down. She especially enjoyed looking at herself in the mirror!

Such a cutie!

Sweet Dreams!

Happy Mother's Day

I really had a Mother's Day weekend. Friday my parents came over to watch Rylee so Brad could take me to dinner. We went to our favorite place for some yummy sushi at Kotta. I have been craving sushi since I have been pregnant and am finally able to eat it again! I even had two glasses of wine, pretty exciting!

Saturday we went over to my parent's house to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom and had dinner over there. It was so nice to get out of the house with Rylee, she enjoyed her first trip to Grammy and Papa's house!

Sunday Brad's parents came over so we could celebrate Mother's Day with his mom. Brad smoked a brisket that turned out fabulous and we enjoyed hanging out at the house. Grandma got Rylee some really fun bows in Canton that I posted below. They are pretty cute, and rather large too! A girl can never have too many bows!

Brad also surprised me with a charm for my Pandora charm bracelet that was from Rylee. I was getting ready in our bathroom and he came in and told me I had to come see what Rylee was doing. I asked him what she was doing and he said I had to come see for myself. She was asleep in her swing, but Brad had draped my bracelet over her little lap. It was so sweet! It was the best first Mother's Day I could ask for!

Looking adorable in her favorite swing!

We went for a walk Sunday and it was very sunny outside. Check out my shades!

What's Up Doc?

Rylee had her three week check up on Tuesday. I thought it was going to be my first trip alone with Rylee, but Brad was able to make it, thank goodness! She weighs 8 lbs. and 11 oz. She is in the 51st percentile for weight, 59th percentile for her head and 83rd percentile for length. She has even grown another 1/2 inch. She's a growing fool, I'm just waiting for her to put some meat on her bones. The doctor said everything looks great and Rylee past all of his little test with flying colors, that's our girl!

Last night we went on our first walk, I think she really liked it. She was actually awake and looking all around, she was so content! Ruger liked the walk too, he's been so neglected lately :( He was happy to get out of the house as well, other than the backyard!

Today my friend Michelle came over with her baby girl, Addie. It was Rylee's first play date, even though they didn't really play (we can pretend). It was so much fun chatting with someone who has been going through all of the same things and at the same time. Late night feedings, lack of sleep, concerns and enjoyable moments. Both girls were so good while Michelle and I chatted. Addie hung out in the swing, while Rylee enjoyed her bouncy seat. We even got their first picture together! I'm sure there will be many more to come. It will be neat to see how they grow and change together! So content in her stroller.

Lets go mommy, I'm ready!

Getting so big!

Such a cutie! I love this picture, but could not figure out how to get the red eye out, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sleepy Baby

It's been a while I know, Chrissy had to call me out on not updating my pictures of little sweet pea. It's so hard since all the pictures seem to look a like these days, sleeping, sleeping and more sleeping. If we could just get the sleeping thing down at NIGHT TIME! She tried to trick me by sleeping 4 hrs at a time at one point, but now we're back to about 3 hrs at a time. This includes 2hours of feeding and trying to get her back to sleep, then an hour later, it starts all over again. I'm soooooo sleepy, but again, I would not change a thing ;) She is so sweet and changing every day. She makes the cutest faces and noises too. She is quite the dramatic sleeper, she always seems to get her arms free and drape them across her sweet little face. She is getting so big! We go for our two week check up tomorrow, I can't wait to see how much she weighs now. It will be my first time taking her out of the house all by myself without Brad. I'm a little nervous and can see myself driving 30 miles an hour with my hazards on the whole way. Wish me luck!

Her little thumb inside her passy, arm draped, so dramatic!

She loves to cuddle with daddy!

Loves to sleep with her arms up by her face.

Bath time!

That bath sure was a lot of work!

So sweet!
