Part I: Happy 2nd Birthday Rylee

Tay Tay,

Mommy and Daddy can't believe another year has flown by and you are now 2 years old! You have been the best part of our lives and we could not imagine it without you! You are the most happy go lucky little girl and have such an adorable personality. The instance you enter a room we can't help but smile. I can't think of one time we have been out somewhere and haven't gotten a compliment on how pretty you are. We of course think your the smartest little 2 year old, not only because your ours, but because you really are. You catch on to things so quickly and I truly can not take all the credit, you have a mind of your own.

You amaze us each day with something new, either a new word, phrase, sentence or even by climbing up on something we never thought you would or getting into something. You are growing like a weed and are so mature for your age. Sometimes we wish you would just slow down and stay 2 forever! We are so blessed to call you ours and thank God each and every day for you!

Before we get to another year in pictures, here are some things you are doing & enjoy:

~You love to go to Little Gym

~Mickey Mouse is still your all time favorite, but you also enjoy: Blues Clues, Backyardagains, Bubble Guppies, Max & Ruby, Franklin, Yo Gabba Gabba, & Wonder Pets

~ Your favorite meal is chicken nuggets & french fries and your favorite dessert is ice cream

~ You will drink juice, but would rather have water

~ You can open/close and lock/unlock doors....we have door knob covers on almost all our doors

~ We've been working on left/right feet and hands and you get them right almost every time

~ Love to do anything outside, especially go the park

~ Love jewelry, the first thing you ask for in the morning besides milk is your bracelets and you get mad when you have to take them off for nap, shower/bath & bed

~ Love to color, especially when it's with something other than a crayon

~ Will absolutely, positively not stay in a shopping cart anymore, you have to walk so you can

pick up anything in sight and show me how "cute" something is, even if it's a pack of batteries.

Mommy has to allow 30 extra minutes when going shopping these days.

~ You say the darnedest things:

~ When Daddy clears his throat you say, "Daddy...gross!"

~ When we go "bye-bye" or upstairs where Ruger can't go you say, "don't cry Ruger."

~ When someone does something you don't like you say, "how rude!"

~ When Baxter cries/wines you say, "poor Bax."

~ "Gosh!"

~ You can sing twinkle twinkle little star, the itsy bitzy spider and almost all of you ABC's by

yourself

~ You love to listen to songs in the car and tell me to turn it up if it's something you really like.

You mumble along to the words and will occasionally get some of them right

~ I have to make sure I have $ .50 every time we go to Walmart so you can ride the horsie

~ You know which street and house is ours when we enter the neighborhood! I stop at each

street and ask you if it's ours, you shake your head and say no and once we get to our street

you smile really big and say yes. You do the same when I ask you which house is ours and

then say, "yes, there it is."

~ You love puzzles and are really good at them

~ Every time we go the back way out of our neighborhood you think we're going to see Berkley

& Elliott b/c that's the way we go to their house. You'll say, "Berkey, Elliott, Patton, Chrissy?"

Then I have to tell you we're not going to their house and you get a pouty lip.

~ When I tell you you're going to Grammy & Papa's house you say, "Grammy, Papa, Baxter

ripped the Elmo." Because forever ago you saw Baxter tearing up an Elmo doll, you remember

everything!
