Just a BIG Scare!

We took Rylee to a specialist Monday morning, and after doing another round of x-rays, found out that her wrist was not fractured! Apparently the first x-ray she got done at the E.R. clinic weren't that great, the doctor said that there was only one view on the c.d. and he said maybe they saw something that wasn't there....REALLY! I really wish the nurses at the E.R. would have said, "it's really hard to tell, but we'll put her in a splint until she can see a specialist," NOT just, "it's fractured."

So after being totally freaked out and worrying all day and night, she was fine! I kept thinking to myself, either she is a lot tougher than I thought or it's not as bad as we think. After getting home and her nap, she acted like nothing was wrong, besides wanting the splint off. As much as I tried to limit the use of her left arm/hand, it was near impossible. She would climb on the couch, pick stuff up, put pressure on it (like shutting a door or crawling on the floor), she slept through the night too!

Thank goodness everything was fine, because she would have had to get a cast all the way up to her shoulder to keep her from being able to pull it off...thank goodness!!!

These are pictures from Sunday night. Daddy even bought her new jammies and cut one of the arms off...poor baby!

Rylee enjoyed painting a picture for Poppie today. He had a minor surgery yesterday and is doing great!
